Your details should be handled properly.
This notice explains what happens when you contact David about a role, send your details or apply through Essential Resourcing.
Essential Resourcing is a founder-led recruitment business run by David Walsh.
Candidate information is used for genuine recruitment conversations and relevant opportunities. It isn't there to be fired around the market hoping somebody bites.
What information may be collected
This may include your name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn or profile URL, current role information, application details, messages and, where relevant, your CV.
Why it's collected
Your information may be used to:
- Reply to you
- Assess whether a role may be relevant
- Discuss suitable opportunities
- Manage an application
- Maintain a reasonable record of recruitment conversations
Who may receive it
David handles candidate conversations directly.
Candidate information will only be shared with a client or relevant third party where there is a genuine recruitment reason to do so and the appropriate permission has been obtained.
What happens after you apply
- David reviews your application or note.
- If there's a potential fit, he'll contact you directly.
- Your information is handled privately and used for recruitment purposes.
- You can request access, correction or deletion of your information.
CVs and private files
CVs and other candidate documents should only be handled through approved private systems and shouldn't be placed in publicly accessible storage.
How long information may be kept
Candidate information is kept only for as long as there is a genuine recruitment reason or legal reason to retain it. Where appropriate, Essential may keep your details so David can contact you about relevant future opportunities. You can ask David to delete your details at any time, subject to any legal obligations that require certain records to be retained.
Deletion, access and correction
To request access to your information, ask for a correction, withdraw consent where applicable or request deletion, use the candidate data request form. If you can't use the form, email david@essentialresourcing.co.uk.
